Giovanni boasts an international experience in biomedical research, both pre-clinical and clinical, of the highest level and he is Inventor in various scientific patents as well as Co-Founder of a biotech company based in Philadelphia (PA, USA). Giovanni’s scientific discoveries are published in highly prestigious international newspapers (high impact factor) and represent innovative contributions of great influence and consideration among researchers and industry specialists. Notably, Giovanni leads advanced translational research projects in the oncology field (especially in gastrointestinal neoplasms) and is a global-level expert on alterations of cellular transduction signals responsible for processes of tumour formation and metastatic progression. Giovanni is Professor of Medical Pharmacology at Thomas Jefferson University (Philadelphia, PA), holding for many years various prestigious management positions at the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutic Experimenting, including those of Director of Metastatic Cancer Research Laboratory and Director of Investigative Medicine’s Clinical Studies Center.
